WHO: Steven Barrantes is the executive chef at Daniel Boulud’s La Tête D'Or, a French-American steakhouse.

 

ABOUT: Barrantes’s love affair with food started at a young age, surrounded by the sights, sounds, and smells of his family's bustling kitchen. After pursuing formal culinary training, Steven embarked on a culinary journey that took him from the kitchens of Michelin-starred restaurants in New York City to the historic North Fork Table & Inn on Long Island, and as well to the JF Restaurants family. Barrantes returned to his original mentor to head one of the most influential steakhouse’s in NYC. 

Having recently been awarded number 17 on the World’s 100 Best Steakhouse within its first year of opening, he is eager to share his passion for culinary excellence and mentorship.
