Refund policy
The Refund & Cancellation Policy for De Gustibus Cooking School is as follows:
- Refunds: Unfortunately, there are no refunds for classes (both in-person and virtual) or gift certificates. Once you've registered and paid for a class or purchased a gift certificate, your payment is non-refundable.
- Changes: No changes are allowed if you miss a class. However, you are welcome to send someone in your place if you're unable to attend. This means that if you can't make it, you can have a friend or family member take your spot, but the class you originally purchased cannot be rescheduled or refunded.
- Strict Policy: This policy is strict, and there are no exceptions. This means that regardless of the reason, whether it's due to weather, illness, traffic, or any other unforeseen circumstance, refunds and rescheduling are not permitted.
- Analogy to Events: The policy suggests that you consider their cooking classes like "events" or a concert. If you purchase tickets to a concert and can't attend for any reason, you wouldn't receive a refund or be able to reschedule. The same principle applies to our cooking classes.
- Cancellation by De Gustibus: De Gustibus Cooking School reserves the right to cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment or if the guest chef needs to postpone due to an unforeseen occurrence. De Gustibus will do every effort in notifying the clients immediately should this occur. In such cases, De Gustibus will issue a class credit in the form of a Shopify gift card, which can be used towards a future event, purchase of a product on our website and/or pass this along to another friend or family member.
