WHO: Romain Paumier is executive chef at Café Boulud.

 

ABOUT: A native of France, Paumier began his career with early success in notable restaurants of Lyon; he held positions as chef de partie at Le Potager des Halles, followed by executive chef at Les Bonnes Manières. After coming to the United States in 2016, Romain joined the original Café Boulud New York and moved to Restaurant Daniel, eventually rising to executive sous chef under Executive Chef Eddy Leroux. His return to Café Boulud as executive chef brings together his years of experience with Daniel Boulud, and his love of and expertise with globally-influenced French cuisine.

 

WHAT: The dynamic chef who returned to Café Boulud after years at Restaurant Daniel — and helped it earn a Michelin star — will guide us through classic French cuisine, bringing a refined touch to globally inspired fare.
