WHO: Ayaka Guido is the executive chef at Jean-Georges Vongerichten's ABC Kitchen and ABC Cocina.
ABOUT: After graduating from The Culinary Institute of America, Ayaka honed her skills at Mas Farmhouse, Little Park (by Andrew Carmellini) and The Musket Room (a Michelin-starred restaurant). These experiences gave her the skills to excel in high-pressure, creative environments. She then worked for the legendary Jean-Georges and Per Se (Thomas Keller’s three-Michelin-star restaurant). She also had the great honor of beating Bobby Flay on his popular Food Network series, "Beat Bobby Flay." Her unique fusion cuisine, which combines elements from her Japanese and Italian heritage, has been recognized and lauded throughout the culinary world.
WHAT: One chef, three cuisines: Executive Chef Ayaka Guido will explore Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s abc trilogy of brands with dishes from the recently opened abc Kitchens in Dumbo, which draws from abc Kitchen, abc Cocina, and abcV.
