ABOUT: Born in Bologna, Cacciatori is a third-generation chef with deep roots in the rich traditions of Emilia Romagna. From a young age, he was immersed in the art of cooking, learning the secrets of his family's cherished recipes in the kitchens of Bologna's finest trattorias. In 2014, driven by a desire to bring the authentic flavors of his homeland to a new audience, Wendy moved to Miami where he opened Via Emilia 9, a cozy South Beach restaurant that has since become a beloved destination for those seeking a true taste of Emilia Romagna. Through his masterful dishes, crafted with ingredients like Parmigiano Reggiano and handmade pasta, Wendy transports diners to the sun-drenched hills of his native region.

In 2018, Wendy expanded his culinary legacy to New York City with the opening of Nonna Beppa in Soho, a heartfelt tribute to his grandmother. Here, he continues his mission of sharing the rich culture and flavors of Emilia Romagna, establishing Nonna Beppa as a cornerstone of traditional Italian cuisine in the bustling heart of Manhattan.
