WHO: Jeremy Salamon is chef-owner of Agi’s Counter and Pitt's, which opened earlier this year in Red Hook, Brooklyn.


ABOUT: Jeremy Salamon is the James Beard–nominated chef and owner of the beloved Agi’s Counter, a 2022 pick for Bon Appétit’s Best New Restaurants list and a 2023 Michelin Bib Gourmand Award recipient. He began his career working under celebrated chefs in restaurants such as Locanda Verde, Prune, Buvette, and Via Carota, before becoming the executive chef of Manhattan restaurants the Eddy and Wallflower. He’s been recognized by The New York Times, Food & Wine, Forbes, The New Yorker, Eater, Travel + Leisure, The Infatuation, and more. His first cookbook, Second Generation: Hungarian and Jewish Classics Reimagined for the Modern Table, came out in September 2024. He opened Pitt’s in Red Hook, Brooklyn in January 2025. 


WHAT: Chef & Owner Jeremy Salamon has built a devoted following at Agi’s Counter, his Michelin Bib Gourmand-awarded love letter to Eastern European flavors. For this evening, we dive into dishes from his newest gem and Brooklyn hotspot, Pitt's, where Southern charm meets French bistro flair.
