WHO: Rocco DiSpirito is a James Beard Award-winning chef and author of fourteen books, including three #1 New York Times bestsellers.

ABOUT: Rocco began his culinary studies at the Culinary Institute of America and by twenty was working in the kitchens of legendary chefs around the globe. He was named Food & Wine's "Best New Chef" and was the first to appear on Gourmetmagazine’s cover as America’s "Most Exciting Young Chef." His three-star restaurant Union Pacific—where Ruth Reichl, in her famous New York Timesreview, said she “moaned as she ate”—was a culinary landmark for many years. Rocco has starred on numerous television shows. Most recently, he received two stars from the Times as chef of the critically acclaimed Standard Grill in New York City.

Rocco has also been a major force on TV for more than 15 years. He's been a guest judge on Bravo's Top Chef, was a contestant on season seven of Dancing with the Stars, debuted as host of a weekly reality TV cooking competition titled Rocco's Dinner Party (on Bravo TV), hosted the syndicated television program Now Eat This! with Rocco Dispirito, hosted the Food Network reality show Restaurant Divided, and appeared on Guy Fieri's Guy's Grocery Games - Superstar Tournament Part 1 and Tournament of Champions.

WHAT: Rocco will be demonstrating new recipes from his new book, Everyday Delicious - Home Cooked Dishes with Rocco. The signed cookbook is included in the price of the class ticket. In addition, Proprietor Simon Cox will be serving paired wines from Coxs' Vineyardhis family estate in New Zealand.
