WHO: Oscar Severini is executive chef at Cibrèo Group Restaurants. Giulio Picchi is an artist, restaurateur and COO at Gruppo Cibrèo.
ABOUT: Severini has worked with chefs at many Michelin-starred restaurants. This includes stints at Villa Arquade in Valpolicella with the legendary Bruno Barbieri, and then with chefs Antonio Guida and Alfonso Iaccarino. After moving to Connecticut to work at Winvian Farm (five AAA Diamonds and membership in Relais & Chateaux), he eventually settled at Cibrèo, a jewel of Tuscan cuisine.
At a very young age, Giulio Picchi followed in the footsteps of his famous father — Fabio Picchi launched Cibrèo in 1979 and it has become one of Florence’s most renowned restaurants (it is also a market and culinary academy). In his career as a restaurateur, he has had the opportunity to organize events for celebrities like Elton John, HBM King Charles III, and Giorgio Armani, among many others.
WHAT:We'll be learning how to make their signature dishes with demonstrations that make use of heirloom recipes. Plus: Jem Macy, the ownerof boutique luxury winery Fanciulle , will be pairing and discussing her limited-edition wines!
