WHO: Chintan Pandya, a James Beard Award-winning chef-owner, runs some of New York’s hottest restaurants including RahiAdda Indian Canteenand Dhamaka.

ABOUT: Pandya, born in Mumbai, is one of the most pioneering chef-owners to emerge in the last five years. In 2019, his restaurant Adda was on the “best new restaurants” list of Food & Wine, Eater, and Bon Appetit.  In 2021, Pandya opened Dhamaka and he won The James Beard Award for Best Chef New York — the first win in this category for an Indian chef. Dhamaka was also named the #1 restaurant of the year by The New York Times and Esquire.
