WHO:Andy Nusser is the chef-partner at Casa Mono and Bar Jamón, where he prepares odes to the food he experienced growing up in Spain.
ABOUT:Nusser cooked in the tiny kitchen at Po in Greenwich Village before becoming the opening chef at Babbo in 1998 — where he helped the restaurant earn three stars from the New York Times and the James Beard Award for"Best New Restaurant." In December of 2003, he became chef-partner of Casa Mono and Bar Jamón. Casa Mono has received three stars from The New York Times, as well as a Michelin star for the last eleven years.
