Jiho Kim and Kelly Nam, the culinary team behindJoomak Banjum, a Korean-Chinese fusion restaurant executed with French technique. They will be teaching on Thursday, September 23rd, from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM EST. In this class, Kim and Nam will showcase their sweet and savory dishes — with the guiding principle that you should have fun with your food. Chef Bios: Jiho Kim andKelly Namstarted working together at the two-Michelin-star The Modern (from Union Square Hospitality Group), where Kim was the executive pastry chef and Nam was the sous chef.
Kim, a native of Korea, began his culinary career at the five-star Renaissance Hotel in Seoul. He began working in the US at Sandrine Bistro in Boston, followed by a year at Viridian Restaurant in Washington, DC. In 2006 he joined the L’Espalier team in Boston. Previously, Nam had been the executive pastry chef at Stephen Starr’s Electric Lemon.

Doors open 15 minutes prior to class time; you will be greeted by one of our team members who will lead you to your assigned seat
Assigned seats, based on party size
Masks required for all guests when entering the school and leaving your seat when using the facilities
Staff required to wear masks throughout the class
Tables and chairs are sanitized prior to arrival
Bathrooms will be sanitized periodically throughout the event
