WHO: Chef-owner David Kolotkin & cooking instructor and book author Naomi Ross.
ABOUT: Kolotkin was most recently executive chef at Mocha Red and is best known for his tenure at The Prime Grill as well as Basil Hospitality Group. Ross has been a cooking instructor for the past 19 years. She writes articles and web content connecting the fun of good cooking with Jewish inspiration. She's a regular contributor to Fleishigs magazine, OU Jewish Action, Kosher.com and Aish.com. Her debut cookbook, The Giving Table, was released in December.
WHAT: The chefs will juxtapose their experiences (think: chef meets home cook) and what they have learned from each other. In addition, Elliot Moscowitz, the proud owner of Prarie Street, will showcase his superb meats in this class. All food strictly kosher.
SUPERVISION: Food will be prepared in a commissary under the kosher supervision of the VHQ (Vaad HaRabbonim of Queens).
