ABOUT: Vongerichten, born in Bangkok, has worked at London’s Berkeley Hotel, Hong Kong’s Mandarin Oriental, and the influential restaurant El Bulli, in Barcelona. He rose through the ranks at several Jean-Georges restaurants and was appointed chef de cuisine at Perry St. In February 2019, he opened the doors of Wayan.
