Chef-partner Tyler Akin is hosting a master class previewing Le Cavalier at the Green Room, the modern, French brasserie coming to Wilmington’s storied HOTEL DU PONT this spring. Le Cavalier will feature French classics, innovative riffs, and seasonal fare, pulling influences from Provençe to North Africa. Akin is chef-owner of acclaimed restaurants Stock and Res Ipsa Cafe in Philadelphia. He was named one of “21 people key to continuing Philly’s restaurant boom” by Billy Penn and was profiled in Philadelphia magazine’s cover piece on “The New Food Establishment: 15 chefs, owners, and doers who are re-creating Philly’s food scene.” Res Ipsa Cafe was also named one of Bon Appetit’s “Best New Restaurants in America.”
