Rising star chef Nico Russell honed his craft — French bistro fare — at places like Daniel and Mirazur (in France) before launching what started as a successful pop-up but has transformed into destination dining in Brooklyn, Oxalis. He’ll be sharing a market-driven menu that reflects his ingredient-based cooking and features vegetable-forward dishes, with proteins, using classic techniques developed in kitchens around the world.


  • Tempura fall vegetables with miso emulsion dusted with sauerkraut 


  • Cured fluke with sour onion, daikon shavings and watercress 



  • Vanilla poached sunchokes with walnut, comte and shaved mushrooms
