Hands-On @ De Gustibus

Explore the world of heirloom and ancient grains with James Beard Foundation Award nominee, and Master Baker and Owner of La Farm Bakery in Cary, NC, Lionel Vatinet. Lionel returns to teach us the intricacies of working with a variety of healthy grains such as spelt, buckwheat and millet along with which yeasts to use and how to mix flours and shape dough by-hand.  Guests will leave this educational class with bread in hand and dough to bake at home, as well as an understanding of how to make fougasse, rye bread and other beloved loaves.
