WHO: Tara Bryan is senior culinary director of Jean-Georges management.
ABOUT: Born and raised in Birmingham, Tara cooked at many restaurants as a teen, attended culinary school, and was hired at Mirabelle (a Marco Pierre Whiterestaurant), which led to work at Nobu London and two Jean-Georges’ restaurants at Fifty Casino. She moved her way up the culinary ranks at W Hotel and Spice Market London and then assumed the role of a Culinary Trainer at Culinary Concepts. She moved again, this time to the Jean-Georges group in New York, and began traveling the world, working with Jean-Georges for special events and opening restaurants. She played a large role in Jean-Georges’ recent global openings, training the opening teams at Tin Building, Curiosa in Doha, Happy Monkey in Greenwich, Jean-Georges Philadelphia, and elsewhere.
